Heather Marie

Heather Marie is Co-Founder and Clinical Lead of PracForms, bringing many years of experience in clinical psychology, healthcare and private practice to the development of a simpler and more useful approach to routine outcome measurement.

Formerly a clinical psychologist and registered nurse, Heather has worked across private practice, hospital and healthcare settings. Her professional experience includes psychological assessment, evidence-based treatment, outcome measurement, clinical reporting and communication with GPs and other healthcare professionals.

The idea for PracForms grew directly from Heather’s experience in clinical practice. She saw a recurring problem: outcome measures can provide valuable information about a client’s progress, yet administering, scoring and tracking them — and then translating the results into meaningful reports — can create considerable additional work for practitioners.

Heather envisioned a better way: a system that could bring these processes together, automate the administrative work around outcome measurement and make the resulting information easier for practitioners to use and communicate.

PracForms began with a simple idea: outcome measurement should support clinical practice — not add another layer of administration to it.

As Clinical Lead, Heather brings the practitioner perspective to the design of PracForms. Her work focuses on the clinical architecture of the platform, the selection and implementation of outcome measures, measurement integrity, longitudinal outcome tracking, reporting frameworks and clinical governance.

A central principle of her approach is that technology should support rather than replace professional judgement. PracForms is therefore being designed to manage the complexity of collecting, scoring and tracking outcome information behind the scenes, while keeping interpretation and clinical decision-making with the practitioner.

Heather’s vision is to make meaningful outcome measurement a natural part of everyday practice — easier to use, easier to understand and easier to connect with the wider care and reporting process.
